It's How To Tuesday (a day late) again at Michael's! Do you have problems recreating your salon look at home? Michael's Salon is putting together a new how to video each week to teach you how to style your hair at home. But here's the difference: our designers are demonstrating the styles on themselves!

We didn't want to leave out the guys, so this week's video features Michael Ison, a new designer and intern here at Michael's. Ison gets questions all the time about how he styles his hair, so here's his video to show you exactly what he does:

Ison uses products by Sebastian to hold his look: the Volupt Spray before blow drying, and the Microweb Fiber to style.

As always, please let us know what you think. If there is a technique you would like to see featured, give us some feedback! Leave a comment here on our blog, or on Facebook or Twitter.

This is a hairstyle with attitude.

Created by Tasha Swanson at Michael’s Salon and Spa in Dayton, Ohio. Tasha first cut Matt’s hair into the Fohawk form. She changed it up a bit by cutting it so it veers off to the right side in the back. The front bang was left longer and gets gradually shorter down the back side. Tasha used a razor and thinning shears to add texture. To make Matt’s new style pop, she foiled in a touch of red. Best of all, styling is easy, Tasha recommends using styling gel or paste.
